These are some accounts of people who have reported seeing objects in the sky on 10-14-08 although these reports do not collaborate with what blossom goodchild reported I believe that even the best psychic or channel can misinterpret information or inadvertently take it out of context, ok so below are the reports:

This first report is of a member of my site,
I went down to the river near my house tonight after i was finished work*I was going to the place where i usually sit and meditate.On my way down to my spot.I was amazed to see not just one but 2 UFO's:)The fist one was as fast as a shooting star.But twice as big,and was gone in a blink.The 2nd was closer,and seemed to be the size of a plane in the sky,yet it moved unlike any plane iv ever seen(along with the fact it had a interesting tail of white light behind it).It did an almost loop around the moon and then disappeared* It was the most amazing sight *the emotions i felt are hard to describe, but it was almost as tho a family member was saying hello to me'.I had an overwhelming sense of begin home sick/sad followed by a feeling of being unconditionally loved*The whole experience left me wanting more.And i sat for another hour hoping my family would return

I have never seen a UFO before.and now that i have, im' excited to see what will happens next:)

It was everything i expected an more!

This was a comment left on this blog earlier on another post
I seen at about 9:30pm last night on 10/14/08 some lights shining off to the west. I was waiting on a bus. I ran home and went out my back door because there is no lights back there. I seen with in an hour 10 objects flying. Some had 1 light some had no lights blinking at all. My boyfriend had come and also witnessed this. When he came out there were what looked to be 3 stars at three different angles shapping in a triangle form but no solid lines. after we kept watching the sky 2 more of these appeard. I kept watching and around 10:45 a craft of some sort flew through my area at a really low depth. It was lower than the sears towe it had to have been. I saw its lights but it had no solid structure you could actually see through it. If this was millitary, well done it not they are still here and we will be seeing more of them. I did not get pics because I am digitilly disadvantaged, LOL! But I think I might inves.

I apologize if this message seems to have a lot of typos and seems rushed it is only that I can not contain myself and must share this information with somebody tonight as I looked out my window I saw an enormous ball of light shoot from the sky further down in to our atmosphere I will try to explain it in detail as best as I can, this light was solid white the light was so beautiful I can barely contain my emotions and my eyes have already begun to well up.

My heart is racing I have never felt such joy and love, the best I can describe this light is that it looked like a very solid orb the type you see in paranormal photography but it was about the size of a blimp but made of pure white light and it was a solid mass, this light had no trail and made no sound, and it appeared out of nowhere it appeared right in the middle of the sky and descended diagonally and then disappeared just below the middle of the sky but before any buildings or trees etc and moved at an incredibly non man made speed but yet it was graceful and precise, no object or celestial body can appear out of nowhere and then proceed to disappear out of where.

I thanked them and the creator for allowing me to see this amazing event now I cant wait for full on revelation…I tell you in all sincerity that what we witnessed as a civilization is the most beautiful loving and peaceful beings known to man, this I felt when I saw this scout ship nothing but love, peace and light whip out the champagne and rejoice! at last First Contact.

I guess it means- we are all in the same boat together? It was a streak across the sky, it had a light blue tinge to it, and all I know is the joy I felt from it. So I take that as a good sign.

At approximately 1 AM, my mother and I (who had been watching the skies for any signs) saw what appeared to be a star, only much brighter. It was hanging low in the south and made no noticeable moves. With binoculars, we could see it distinctly blinking blue to red to yellow/white. By 4 AM it had moved higher and more to the east, and by 530 AM it was no longer visible.

stargazing last night, i noticed what was surely the prettiest star. it twinkled a rainbow of hues very brightly. it was not the first time i have observed it in pretty much the same position, which was about forty degrees elevation, to the east south east, just above the neighbourhood treeline. last night though, through both binoculars and naked eye, the star was especially transfixing. i felt an enthrallment and felt unwilling to remove my gaze for several minutes. really a very soothing feeling, almost hypnotic, obviously very hard to describe; i was feeling quite a connection to this star! in my marvel i thought i saw the star wander to and fro, and even change altitude, but i couldnt be sure because these movements were slow, and i have no tripod setup of any sort. so still 'connected', i 'asked' for slightly more conclusive behaviour; i dont know what i was expecting, maybe a figure eight! there was no variation in activity for half a minute or so, but then the star brightened slightly before fading out to black over three seconds. i stayed out only for another five minutes or so, but i came out again about a half hour later to find the same light had returned, and now it was definitely wandering, with noticeable displacement. observed it off and on until about four am, when the the clouds rolled in. i am quite impressed, since until last night i had only suspected this object to be.. unidentifiable compelling. im certain i will see it again.

I was driving home from work in a Westerly direction when I noticed a mysterious bright light in the morning sky that is not normally there when I drive home. I looked up and noticed the object was hovering back and forth across the road ahead of me. It seemed to go from the left to the right and then back to the left again. I continued to drive home and kept a close eye on the object. I started up the last hill on my way into the town I live and realized that the object was above this hill. I couldn't make out any detail except that it was a bright light, very much like a star. But the sun was out and no other objects where in the sky like that. As I was about to crest the hill and go almost directly under the object the light just disappeared and I could not find it again. I have no idea what the light was, if it was a planet, star, or ufo. It's just something that I cannot explain. I felt very paranoid after I lost sight of the object while I was descending the hill into the valley below. It was extremely foggy down in the valley which amplified my paranoid creepy feeling I had. My father has also seen objects(lights) that he can't explain in the sky and he has lived in this town his whole life. On a side note, I noticed a very similar light a few months before but over a different hill and from a much farther distance.

Otros, sin embargo, aseguran que vieron algo, aunque en el hemisferio norte, y hasta muestran algunas pruebas. También prometen que pronto se la verá con más claridad. Tampoco faltan los que creen que en realidad todo es el delirio de una secta. Además, publica en su blog otras dos imágenes, esta vez fotografías, en las que se ve un gran triángulo en el cielo. El detalle es que fueron tomadas en el norte de Finlandia, desde donde se las envió un lector. “Un triángulo tapó el cielo por algunos minutos. Estaba muy oscuro, por lo que hay mucho ruido en la foto”, le dice en un coreo electrónico el hombre que le envió las imágenes. El blog de Goodchild no se actualizó desde el 12 de octubre. Pero los comentarios no dejan de llegar tanto al de ella como al de Johnson. Son muchos los que le señalan que Google Earth en realidad muestra una falta de información en esa zona que se visualiza como una figura oscura. Otros creen que sólo es un retoque hecho con PhotoShop. Algunos todavía se mantienen crédulos. “No te preocupes Brad, los escépticos no sabrían si una nave espacial los golpea en un ojo. Todo lo que tienen son sus creencias negativas, nada más. Yo todavía creo que ellos están aquí”, le dice closeencounters en un comentario. Otros dudan de las pruebas, pero creen que la nave aparecerá: “Brad, dejá de postear porquerías. Actualizá si realmente creés”,. Le pide selam.ghost.cat. No faltan los que en el foro de la Federación de la Luz comparan la expectativa con la que generaron sectas como Puerta del Cielo y Templo del Pueblo, que en ambos casos terminaron con suicidios masivos. Sea cual sea el caso, corren voces de que Blossom Goodchild se ha embolsado cerca de 2 millones de dolares por las donaciones generadas. An American computer game designer boarded the international space station yesterday, floating onto the orbital outpost 35 years after his astronaut father circled the Earth on Skylab.

Richard Garriott was greeted by another man who has turned space flight into a family tradition: Russian cosmonaut Sergei Volkov, whose father is a decorated veteran of the Soviet space program.

Both proud fathers - Owen Garriott with a U.S. flag patch on his jacket and Alexander Volkov with a Soviet medal pinned to his chest - watched on a screen at Russian Mission Control outside Moscow as the Soyuz craft that delivered Garriott homed in on the station and docked flawlessly.

Today at the TechStars demo day, Automattic, the company behind WordPress, announced that it has acquired enhanced commenting system IntenseDebate for an undisclosed amount.

WordPress has long been in need of an upgraded commenting system, which has led to a number of replacement and augmented systems in the last year, including Disqus and JS-KIT. WordPress CEO Toni Schneider says that better commenting has been on the blogging platform's roadmap for some time, and that IntenseDebate's team and technology made the company a good target for acquisition.

WordPress 2.7 will include some of IntenseDebate's features by default, including threaded commenting. The service will also introduce a plugin that tightly integrates the rest of IntenseDebate's other features, like aggregated commenting across multiple blogs.

In a blog post announcing the deal, IntenseDebate says that it will now be re-entering private beta, though the service's current users will still be able to use it. IntenseDebate will stay a separate service that will be tightly integrated in WordPress, but will also be available for other platforms (Akismet's spam filtering has been used in a similar manner).

IntenseDebate originally launched to the public last October, sporting features including OpenID support, user profiles, and the ability to track a user's comments across multiple blogs. Since launch the site has seen impressive growth, reporting at least a 25% increase in users each month.

Description:

RCW 108 is a region where stars are actively forming within the Milky Way galaxy about 4,000 light years from Earth. This is a complicated region that contains young star clusters, including one that is deeply embedded in a cloud of molecular hydrogen. By using data from different telescopes, astronomers determined that star birth in this region is being triggered by the effect of nearby, massive young stars.

This image is a composite of X-ray data from Chandra (blue) and infrared emission detected by Spitzer (red and orange). More than 400 X-ray sources were identified in Chandra's observations of RCW 108. About 90% of these X-ray sources are thought to be part of the cluster and not stars that lie in the field-of-view either behind or in front of it. Many of the stars in RCW 108 are experiencing the violent flaring seen in other young star-forming regions such as the Orion Nebula. Gas and dust blocks much of the X-rays from the juvenile stars located in the center of the image, explaining the relative dearth of Chandra sources in this part of the image.

The Spitzer data show the location of the embedded star cluster, which appears as the bright knot of red and orange just to the left of the center of the image. Some stars from a larger cluster, known as NGC 6193, are also visible on the left side of the image. Astronomers think that the dense clouds within RCW 108 are in the process of being destroyed by intense radiation emanating from hot and massive stars in NGC 6193.

Taken together, the Chandra and Spitzer data indicate that there are more massive star candidates than expected in several areas of this image. This suggests that pockets within RCW 108 underwent localized episodes of star formation. Scientists predict that this type of star formation is triggered by the effects of radiation from bright, massive stars such as those in NGC 6193. This radiation may cause the interior of gas clouds in RCW 108 to be compressed, leading to gravitational collapse and the formation of new stars.

O que você ouviria se estivesse em Marte? Um leve chiado do vento? Quais o são ruídos de Marte? A sonda Phoenix Mars Lander estará em breve tentando descobrir os sons originais que o planeta vermelho tem a nos oferecer.

De fato, nós poderemos ouvir pela primeira vez os sons da superfície de Marte. A Phoenix Lander tem um microfone à bordo que será ligado em breve pela NASA. Como disse Peter Smith, pesquisador da NASA, "É definitivamente a primeira vez". O microfone é parte do sistema chamado "Mars Descent Imager" (MARDI) atrelado na parte inferior da Phoenix Mars Lander, projetado para tirar fotos da superfície de Marte durante a descida da Lander. Entretanto o MARDI nunca foi utilizado, pois testes do sistema realizados durante o vôo para Marte revelaram a possibilidade do mesmo causar problemas em outras partes do sistema de pouso. Recentemente a NASA resolveu o problema e irá enviar uma atualização de software que permitirá a ligação do microfone em breve.

Lembramos que a Mars Express já havia gravado os sons da Phoenix descendo, mas só agora iremos realmente ter a capacidade de ouvir os sons originais de Marte - uma oortunidade deveras extraordinária. Vejam e escutem o vídeo "Phoenix speaks" na space.com.

Os cientistas não tem certeza do que exatamente ou o quanto vão ouvir. As ondas sonoras não viajam tão longe em Marte como na Terra uma vez que a atmosfera marciana é muito bastante rarefeira. "Seria similar a escutarmos sons em uma altitude de mais de 30.000 metros acima da superfície terrestre", disse Smith.

Para dificultar um pouco mais essa operação o tal microfone é apenas o similar de um singelo microfone de telefone celular. O microfone da Phoenix não é um equipamento de alta-fidelidade!

Vamos aguardar então que a operação seja bem sucedida e que os cientistas coloquem os sons disponíveis na Internet para que nós possamos também ouví-los.

But behind the odd name lies a curious concept that if proven true, could mean that we have common ancestors not just in the deep past but on strange worlds across the cosmos. If a certain species of bacteria seeded millions of worlds by some means, it may have evolved into other creatures on other planets while staying unchanged on its own world as a living fossil. Of course those mysterious "means" are what makes many scientists think twice about the viability of panspermia.

The odds of a big enough asteroid slamming into a planet with organisms tough enough to survive an unprotected spaceflight like Earth's tardigrades, launching them towards a solar system tens or even hundreds of light years away at just the right angle and at just the right quantity to make it to a planet where these organisms can thaw and start evolving are, well... staggering. This is why most scientists today note that panspermia is a nifty idea, that it would be incredibly exciting if true, but think that life most likely appears on a planet which can support it with a solvent and an energy source (i.e. food and water).

However, recent experiments with launching tough creatures from our own world into space and safely bringing them back, the case of Earth bacteria surviving on the Moon and many complaints from NASA engineers about how hard it is to sterilize equipment and avoid the contamination of other worlds with tough Earth germs got me thinking. If life is billions of years old and we think that the oldest planets we can hypothesize of are more than twice as old as the Earth, could there have been in all the vastness of space other civilizations sending probes carrying tough organisms into deep space and seeding worlds as they go? Having a sort of intelligent dispersion of life would guarantee that the bacteria will get to a planet or a moon and as it would make sense to send probes to look for alien life, the probes are highly likely to be sent to worlds more or less hospitable to living things.

If that sounds like an even bigger stretch than random meteor impacts, consider what we want to do in the next thousand years. We want to change Mars to be more like Earth. We want to explore habitable environments in our solar system with contaminated probes. We want to send robotic explorers to other planets to find alien life and those explorers will also carry our germs among the stars. Could we eventually be responsible for panspermia events when our technology becomes advanced enough to freely move around space? Maybe life in the universe could be a combination of organic components coming together in the right environments, natural seeding and intelligent dispersal of a space faring species that just can't clean its space probes well enough? Certainly something to ponder when we explore the cosmos.

De la misma manera que dimos la oportunidad y abrimos la puerta a la posibilidad de que esta canalización fuera cierta, ahora viendo, una vez más, el desarrollo en fraude de la misma, lo señalamos y criticamos.

Se llegaron a esperar y especular con posibilidades del proyecto Blue Beam, tampoco han sucedido. Videos de Google Earth con supuestas sombras...todo desinformación y bulos. La niebla y la poca visibilidad, detalle único a destacar, gracias al seguimiento mundial de la bóveda celestial a través de los miles de blogeros que han posteado en cientos de blogs describiendo y aportando datos sobre sus cielos.

 

Destacar también el seguimiento que han hecho peter pertrelli como la reflexión Exopoliticsspain del posible contacto. Niebla aparentemente normal, pero sí a destacar que en la gran mayoría de lugares desde donde se ha oteado el cielo con el fin de ver el esperado Ovni facilitaban comentarios en los que la niebla y la poca visibilidad eran un común denominador. No con ello quiero interpretar que dicha inclemencia meteorológica, impidiese el poder vislumbrar la supuesta nave. Fueron datos concretos y cruciales los proporcionados por esta canalizadora, ya sin crédito, con lo cual han de ser categóricos y directos los análisis. Ni rastro ni conocimiento de la nave que debiese haber aparecido dejándose ver por tres días. Esta es la realidad sobre el primer contacto programado para el 14 Octubre de 2008 en el Hemisferio Sur de nuestro maltratado y oscuramente gobernado planeta.

Seguimos con las preguntas y las espadas en alto en cuanto a la existencia y co habitabilidad con seres de otras procedencias, aun no sabemos, por ejemplo, que ocurrió con la nave que desapareció cayendo en barrena tomando fotos, algunas aún ocultas, para la Nasa, en el primer proyecto espacial donde intervenían tanto ruso como chinos, en Fobos, una luna de Marte. En cualquier caso el peso y la consideración de seriedad que se le da al enfoque, planteamiento, realidades y análisis al tema extraterrestre en el Disclosure Project es lo suficientemente sólida como para respaldar la creencia de vida inteligente más allá de nuestra atmósfera. Creemos firmemente en al existencia de extraterrestres quizás estén mucho mas cercanos a nosotros de lo que nos pensamos. Pero es impepinable el no poder dar más crédito a este tipo de sociedades y congregaciones galácticas que prometen, embaucan y en ocasiones proceden a manera sectaria, mintiendo y haciendo uso , abuso y gala de la esperanza de muchas almas habidas del conocimiento de esta turbia realidad que nos envuelve a todos como seres espirituales.

 

Ilusión, la misma realidad que acontece a los mercados bursátiles europeos con una recuperación leve de dos días de respiro, en los que la inflación a través de la bajada del Euro y la subida del petróleo se dejará ver, si ya no lo hace, en la sociedad.

The goal of these problems is to teach students about space weather by using mathematics. Each problem begins with real world questions, missions and situations, and applies the necessary mathematics for a solution.
