Ladies and gentleman, this is Chewbacca.  Chewbacca is a Wookie from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor!  Now think about it....that does not make sense!  Why would a Wookie, an Eight foot tall Wookie, want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks?  That does Not make sense!  But more importantly you have to ask yourself, what does that have to do with Code Geass? Nothing.  Ladies and gentleman, it has nothing to do with Code Geass.  It does not make sense!  Look at me, I'm a blogger talking about a science fiction anime, and I'm talking about Chewbacca.  Does that make sense?  Ladies and gentleman, I am not making any sense.  None of this makes any sense.  And you have to remember, when you are watching Code Geass, reviewing it and rating it, does it make sense?  No!  Ladies and gentleman, it does not make sense!  If Chewbacca lives on endor, you must bash Code Geass!  This blogger rests.....

Actually in all seriousness I just wanted to talk about the second opening again and go over a few things I have noticed in it and where I think it hints at what direction the last few episodes might take.

0:01-0:10:  This almost seemed to hint at Lelouch confronting his parents.  In it we see a dark space and then Lelouch emerges with the world's mask Charles talked about and his mask as Zero reflected in his eyes.  Then we see a quick shot of Marianne, C.C, V.V and Charles gathered at a hillside supposedly preparing to carry out their plan that we saw in episode 21.  As his Geass flies out of his eye the last image we see reflected is the Giant Geass on "Jupiter" as if to show what he needs to do.

0:11-0:16: We see images of Schneizel, Nunally, C.C and Suzaku flash by quickly seeming to hint that they will be key figures in some sort of struggle.  Probably something we might see in episode 22-25.

0:27-0:32: We see the Tokyo Settlment and then a Black King falling from the sky with the lyrics, "Can't live with just sugarcoating everything".  This seems to foreshadow the part where things took a turn for the worst with Lelouch as a result of his deceit, the Tokyo Settlement being in jeopardy and him falling from grace as the Black King once Schneizel exposed him to the Black Knights.

0:33-0:36:  Karen, Gino, Nina and Anya all follow up the previous scenes with looks of regret on their faces. Likely the reason for this are Karen because of what happened to Lelouch, Nina because of her regret in making the bomb, Gino regreting that the war has taken a turn away from chivalry and honor, and Anya.....well she just look like she is floating along in thought, as if wondering who she really is.

0:37-0:38: We see an image of the Ashford Academy Crest, The Flags of Britannia, the Black Knights and world followed by the words lost.  All of these were lost by characters who held them as important other than the world.  Nina lost any ties she once had to her security blanket (Ashford) in her actions as of late, Charles actions caused him to lose Britannia, Lelouch's actions caused him to lose the Black Knights, but what of the world.  Will it be Schneizel or Lelouch that loses the world.

0:38-0:39: We see an image of gods burning.  This is just Charles wish as far as I can tell.

0:40-0:43: We see Zangetsu taking off into battle with some giant structure and it looks like a cataclysmic battle.  This is followed by shots of Schneizel and Lelouch seeming eyeballing each other.  This is their final struggle I assume.

0:44-0:52:  We see Nunally throwing an origami airplane (the symbol of her bond between herself as a Britannian and Sayoko as a Japanese person) that carries a rainbow with it and gradually the sky turns from day to night to "god".  I think this means that Nunally's policies of peaceful coexistence between different people will be spread across the world following one final battle between Lelouch and Schneizel for the world.  And the people will rejoice as the lyrics claim in a "song of festivity".

0:53-1:10: We see Zero call up images of Shinkiro, Shen-Hu, Tristan (?), Akatsuki, Zangetsu, Mordred, Gold Vincent, Guren Seiten Hachi and Lancelot Albion and Sutherland Sieg appearing to stand as one before some unknown foe.  This hints that these people will all eventually be on the same side.  Who will pilot Rolo's old Vincent now though if anyone?

1:11-1:26: The Sunrise character group lineup (TM).  I don't read into this one to much as all of their series seem to have at least one shot of the ensemble cast in the opening.  I will not that C.C appears to be standing alone at the end of it and we can't tell if she's smiling or not.

1:27-1:32: We see Charles casts a shadow over the world, then Schneizel casts a shadow with the red and blue sides reversed as if to hint that Charles and Schneizel have opposing ideals for the future of the world.  Finally Lelouch casts a shadow over the world in many colours.  I think it's meant to hint that both Charles and Schneizel while having opposing ideals, both have a black and white way of looking at things, whereas Lelouch can ultimately become the ideal leader who would unite all points of view.  It also hints that after Charles loses the world, Schneizel will have the world and lose it to Lelouch.  Will Lelouch lose it to someone as well? 

Whatever the case, the whole World End theme just seems to mean the end of one world and the beginning of another, as if the coming of a new age, not the end of all things, which is what much of R2 has been about it would seem.

As if I'm going to miss another episode after last week.

I was indeed expecting another nipple cavalcade but apparently Sekirei is going to play the tease card. Which is fine by me because, for once in its lifetime, I actually felt the plot shrugging awake and stumbling along, thanks to Seo who spends over half the episode explaining every detail of Sekrei's world for our benefit.

The Cliff's Notes:

• The capital is separated in four sectors each ruled by a Big Boss. The Big Boss of the North sector is the landlady. Hard to believe, I know... Until you see her spank Tsukiumi.
• Speaking of everyone's favorite Water Girl: in the world of Sekirei, no one is truly defeated until they are naked as the day they were born. I bet the high school chess club matches must be really intense.
• Why is Sekirei so terrified of resorting to action and fighting? The fight scenes ain't amazing but they're still a hundred times better at adrenaline-pumping than the remaining 95% content the show regurgitates every week. Hell, Musubi has a cool ground punch near the end that almost made me mutter "fuck yeah". Almost.

Code Geass (episode 21)

Incoming wall o' text. You've been warned.

Whenever a show tackles the issue of collective consciousness and a pan-human melding thereof, the comparisons to Neon Genesis Evangelion and its controversial ending arise, with most commentators failing to address the questions that matter the most.

The Emperor's all-encompassing plan was to use the Sword of Akarakaksha to initiate the Ragnarok Junction, thereby affecting the collective consciousness and forcing it -- through the use of two immortal Codes -- to revert to a primal, individual-less entity. Individuals are nothing but masks of that collective unconsciousness, C.C. claims, windows into the larger hive mind's heart and soul, if you will.

In Code Geass it is Lelouch who rises up to reject that decision, and thank God it didn't take him two drawn-out, poorly-animated black and white introspective episodes to get there, if you know what I mean. And you have to love that Lelouch doesn't just yell "GARRR!" and punches Daddy's lights out: no, he argues against his parents's intellectual position. He believes that the lies and the deception that they disdain so much are tools with no intrinsic moral value whatsoever. You can cheat on your wife and lie, but you can also buy her a sweet gift for her birthday and hide it from her while waiting for the perfect moment to present itself. Removing individuality would remove not just conflicts but all possibility of healthy, caring interactions.

Hokay, enough Heideggering around. This is the kind of episode that makes or breaks a show if it airs too early; in Code Geass's case, I doubt many viewers will be put off by the preposterous turn into metaphysics the show took for the week, although it was still a massive disappointment to me. All that build-up over two seasons over the Emperor and his secretive plan? Bam, gone. The Emperor? Gone. Lady Marianne? Gone after a mere two episodes. V.V.? The lil' bastard is loooong gone. And what in blazes can Schneizel pull out of his ass that's going to top the Emperor's plan of forcing the entire species onto a higher plane of consciousness by erasing individuality? Much like a twelve-year-old boy who's stumbled on his older brother's Playboy stash, I wonder if Code Geass hasn't fallen prey to premature climaxing.

And that's... pretty much it

Uhm, damn. Less overtime, more anime watching. I am hopelessly behind in watching all my favorite series except for those above and Macross Frontier and Koihime Musou. Not only that, but I'm cooking up a "shows I wanna watch" post too, which does not bode well considering my lack of spare of time. Ah, what I wouldn't give for a Geass that let me forsake sleep entirely...

A yaoi-based story that is sooooo similar to Meerkat Manor 4! I'm writing this for fun. Lelouch being Rocket Dog and Cornelia being Nikita...for those of you who didn't see Meerkat Manor 4, Don't read this story because it will be scattered. Various episodes and moments...This week's story is based on not Meerkat Manor 4 but it puts the characters in a Meerkat situation. and it does not take place in the world of Geass. It takes place in the same area as Meerkat Manor. The first two episodes star Suzaku and the next three star Nunnaly and so on! Story Arc 1 - The Scandal of Suzaku Kururugi
Episode 1 - The Scandal of Suzaku Kuruugi

Morning dawned the Kalahari. Nunnaly awoke to see the sunlight up the surface. She and her small group, The Aztecs, have been struggling whilst Lelouch's group, the Whiskers, went through a breeze for the last week. Thomas, the Emperor of the Whiskers anointed Lelouch the title of ‘Dominant Male’. But in order to protect his high status the former Britannian must, and dare I describe it, have Pups.

Suzaku Kruger, I mean, Kururugi, has showed way too much interest in Lelouch and Lelouch’s mistress Nifon. But mainly Lelouch.

The past rover followed Lelouch everywhere. Whenever Lelouch went foraging, Suzaku would follow! Whenever Lelouch went into the burrow to be alone there goes Suzaku!
The ‘justice is right’ Suzaku Kururugi couldn’t stay away for a minuet. Sure he might have snubbed Nunnaly but to Suzaku, Lelouch was where the gold was!

On one moonlight night Suzaku caught Nifon sitting under a tree alone. Everyone elese was sleep except those two. So Suzaku decided to play the want me game. He patted and kissed up to Nifon. But she was faithful only to Lelouch. But then came the puppy dog eyes. Nifon couldn’t resist. And so she and Suzaku Kururugi spent the night under a tree…

The next day Nifon couldn’t face Lelouch. She went behind his back and carried on with Suzaku Kururugi. Suzaku didn’t care… until the day Nifon started to show signs of pregnancy. That’s when he started to worry. But the strange thing is he was, um, p-pre-pregnant too (yes, I know! Its very weird). These aren’t your average Suricatta Meerkats.

Suzaku went foraging alone but Lelouch quietly followed. Suzaku dug a small hole and spotted a scorpion. Lelouch tried to step in closer but he unexpectedly stepped on a twig.
The snap noise put Suzaku on alert. He looked back and saw Lelouch in the tall grass.

“Come out!” he ordered.

Lelouch walked out of the grass and said, “You’ve been messing with Nifon, haven’t you Suzaku?” Suzaku gulped and said in a quivering voice, “I-I-I have not.” Lelouch had his own ways of getting answers and he was not going to let Suzaku go so easily.

But Suzaku had his ways of shutting up Lelouch. So he used the same method that he used on Nifon on Lelouch. But he added in a kiss! If a subordinate was pregnant at the same time the leader was, then the unlucky subordinate would see eviction and no hope of return.

Lelouch came back to the burrow unharmed. But something was strange about him. it was in the middle of the night and everyone was wondering where did he go all day? Euphemia, Shirley and Milly, the loyal babysitters, went in search for Suzaku. It was around 2:17 when the girls found Suzaku in a bolthole. It was in the same spot he was foraging in earlier in the day.

“Euphemia, Shirley, Milly” he called weakly. The two walked over to him. “Can you keep a secret?” he asked. The two nodded. Things were becoming very suspenceful. Euphemia really wanted to know the secret more than any of them.

The next day Milly was standing in front of the Whisker’s burrow entrance. She was thinking of Suzaku's plan. Was it smart enough to keep Lelouch out of suspicion? The plan Suzaku thought of was smart enough to keep his secret safe. Lelouch poked his head out of the burrow and saw Milly. His pups were due in a few minuets and he wanted to make sure Suzaku was around. He had plans for the poor Japanese guy. “Where is Suzaku?” he asked. Milly hesitated but hastily responded, “d-uh, he went foraging!”

Suzaku was actually at the empty bolthole. He was escorting his pups out of the burrow and away from Whiskers territory. Shirley was standing guard and Euphemia was looking for a new temporary home for the pups until they were old enough to return to their home with the Whiskers. Milly tried her hardest to stall Lelouch. He didn't buy her first little Lie. “Where is Suzaku?” he asked her in a more demanding tone. “uh…he’s in Bikini Bottom!” joked Milly.

Lelouch pushed her aside but Milly dashed in front of him. “uh…there are termites all over him!” she lied. She could stop because Lelouch didn’t believe her one bit. So she did the unthinkable. She bit him! She would get evicted for sure. He bit her. She bit him again! A fight broke out between the two just that fast. Milly bit Lelouch on his left leg and Lelouch bit her on her neck. His teeth locked on her neck and he didn't intend to let go. Milly scatched him across the face, making Lelouch let go and wipe off the blood. Just as he was about to come at her with sharp, dagger-like claws Lloyd, a Zappa-born Meerkat, broke up the fight by throwing himself in front of Milly.

Llyod turned his head towards the tall grass. He knew of Suzaku's secret. Lelouch, wondering what Llyod was looking at, turned his head to the tall grass. He caught sight Euphemia. She was looking right at him without even noticing it.

Lelouch ran for the tall grass and towards Suzaku and Euphie. “Suzaku! Run! He’s coming!” yelled Milly. Suzaku heard the call. He only got two out of three pups out. He gave the second one to Shirley and ran down into the hole to grab the third one. Shirley ran off with the second one. Milly was too injured to intervene in all the action and Lelouch was coming fast!

Suzaku exited the burrow with the third pup but was caught by Lelouch. Lelouch stood up and asked, “What is that?” Suzaku knew he was in trouble now. And to top things off, Suzaku had 3 more pups on the way.

What kind of crazy story was this? This is Meerkat Manor.

“Please, Lelouch. Just spare just this once.” Said Suzaku in his serious voice. Loyal babysitter C.C. loved drama. She didn’t even care to stop the fight. Suzaku told Lelouch about his soon-coming pups and how loyal he is to Lelouch. Lelouch didn’t buy it.
“Instinct and love is more powerful. Too powerful for you mind!” said Lelouch.

Although Lelouch ‘cheesed’ Suzaku he knew Suzaku was already full of 6 pups.
So to say, Lelouch was on Suzaku’s case…with so little members for the Whiskers one litter had to be killed while the other survived. Lelouch planned to run Suzaku away. He ran towards Suzaku and snatched the pup out of his hand.

He slaughtered the poor thing right in front of Suzaku! Euphemia came back and saw the whole crime. “Lets make a run for It.” whispered Euphemia. The two ran off but Lelouch followed fast behind. Suzaku couldn’t lead him into the burrow where his pups were.

But Shirley and the bruised Milly were waiting for them at the burrow. And when Lelouch saw them suspicion Rose up even higher. He changed directions and ran towards the burrow Milly and Shirley were guarding. The two girls positioned their selves in fighting stance and when Lelouch reached the burrow they attacked him with all their might!

“Suzaku! Get the package!” hollered Shirley.

She was speaking in code. The package was the pups. So while Milly and Shirley had Lelouch in a jaw lock Suzaku and Euphemia ran into the burrow. Lelouch is now regretting that he skipped remedial gym class. He sent out a cry call, which was heard by the Whiskers. They ran to Lelouch’s aid. Suzaku and Euphemia took the pups and headed for the burrow entrance but at the entrance Shirley and Milly were fighting for their lives against their friends.

Lelouch was free of the fight and glared at Suzaku. Suzaku and Euphemia backed away slowly and ran for the back exit of the burrow. Lelouch followed them closely behind.
Being a fast runner he pounced on Euphemia! She dropped the pup and without wasting a minuet Lelouch grabbed the thing and slaughter it just as he did the first one! Suzaku kept on running. The tears in his eyes formed into crystals of pure sadness. He was Vying for his child's life. Suzaku found a bolthole and placed the pup safely inside. He turned around and saw Lelouch. a fight was what Suzaku wanted. He decided to fight Lelouch…

…And it ended terribly! Suzaku and Lelouch were both injured and Euphemia, Milly and Shirley were temporarily evicted and Suzaku lost all three of his pups and his impending litter (it was scant anyways)! Oh what sheer irony! At the end of the day Lelouch had his litter (happily ever after for him) and Suzaku was evicted (it’s the ways of the Meerkat Mafia. Hurt the leader and you’re a pig in the barrel!).

Suzaku sat under the same tree he and Lelouch ‘cheesed’ at. He cried his eyes out. His heart shattered by cruelty. His eyes foresaw the hatred and love that Lelouch held towards him. As long as Suzaku was part of the Whiskers Lelouch would let him have nothing! Suzaku Kruger, uh, Kuuruugi had a strong need retribution now. As the sun set on the Kalahari a lone figure stood under a tall tree. The leafs fell silently on the pebble infested sand. The colors of the surroundings started to slowly darken as the sun disappeared and the moon took over its night shift. “Re-ven-ge.” Suzaku whispered.

Next time on Code Geass: The Next Gen...
Rover Rolo returns to the Whiskers and Lelouch does something to him thats far beyond sick while Nunnaly is framed for a murder! Come back next week for EP 2! Or is it 3? and Story Arc 2: The Resistance of Nunnaly opens up with a BANG!

Ile wystarczy, żeby człowieka ucieszyć? Dodać jedną z jego ulubionych piosenek do anime, które lubi :D

Aż wstyd, że nie mam zainstalowanych znaków japońskich na kompie ^^" Dawno nie pisałam. Może dlatego, że byłam wykończona. Dużo się działo. PierniCON był jednym z lepszych imprez na jakich byłam, pomimo zrypanej organizacji. Dużo kochanych ludzi <3 Bardzo dużo. Może kiedyś jeszcze napiszę z niego relację :D

Wczorajszy dzień był dniem mojej osobistej żałoby. Zginęła Nunnally, siostra Leloucha [*]. Dawno tak mi się nie płakało. Moje przywiązanie do "kupek kresek" jest zadziwiające.

Pierwszy tydzień w liceum - żal peel to za mało. Wiedziałam, że moje gimnazjum nie było zbyt "wybitne" ale nie wiedziałam, że AŻ TAK O.o Chodzę niby na rozszerzoną matmę, gdzie nie rozumiem 98% lekcji, a w domu siedzę 3h próbując to zrozumieć i nic! Coś mi się wydaje, że jak tak dalej pójdzie to trzeba będzie załatwić korepetycje. A tabliczkę z tytułem "Najlepszego Absolwenta Gimnazjum" mogę sobie...

Dogoniłam "Code Geass R2" do aktualnych odcinków. Muszę się przyznać, ale moja obsesja na punkcie Leloucha osiągnęła poziom, gdzie nie moge się ruszyć bez przypinki z nim xD Przynajmniej nie gadam o nim (może dlatego, że nie mam do kogo) tyle co dziewczyny o Szynkach. Ostatnio męczyłam Dżasa streszczając jej ogólna fabułę kilku pierwszych odcinków pierwszej serii i trochę nam to zajęło. Ale się chyba zanudziła, więc nie liczę na to, że będzie ze mną oglądać ^^" W ostatnim (21) odcinku zrobili mi takie pranie mózgu, że się do teraz nie mogę pozbierać. Widziałam gdzieś fajne zdanie z recenzji "dziwne, że Lelouch, który przez połowe swojego życia chciał pomścić matkę zdecydował się ją zabić w ciągu kilkunastu minut". Dużo racji, ale ten odcinek tylko utwierdził mnie w przekonaniu, że L. jest jednym z najbardziej tragicznych postaci jakie widziałam. Jedyną dobrą stroną jest to, że Suzaku wreszcie przejrzał na oczy. Może nawet zacznę go znowu lubić, pomimo jego pokręconych przekonań. Ciekawa jestem co się wydarzyło w ciągu tego "jednego miesiąca", że ... zaraz zaraz... Suzaku został Rycerzem Zero? Nieeeee, wcale nie widać ironii >D

Tiaa, jestem kumpel cesarza a wy możecie mnie cmoknąć xD

Najdziwniejsze w tym wszystkim jest, jak pomyślę, że w początkowych odcinkach miałam zupełnie inne zdanie o bohaterach. Chyba na tym właśnie polega dobra seria, że kształtuje twoje wyobrażenie i oddziałuje na uczucia wobec postaci. Nie ma nic jednolitego. Im bardziej wdrążasz się w ich historię (szczególnie z ich punktu widzenia) tym bardziej zaczynasz patrzeć na to z ich pozycji. Pamiętam jak sądziłam, że Lelouch ma zapędy kirowskie i jest skazany na lost psychola, a Suzaku to bohater bez skazy - idealny książę. Porównując do odczuć sprzed dwóch odcinków - Lelouch to postać tragiczna i oh ah yh <3, a Suzaku ma niepokolei we łbie ("to ja mam rację, muszę bronić dobra, odzyskam Japonię mordując Japończyków" - kompletnie nie rozumiem jego filozofii) - moje odczucia co do postaci zmieniły się o 180 stopni.  Jeszcze 4 (albo 5 odcinków) przed nami, a Szfabisko Schneizel ma jeszcze parę słów do powiedzenia, więc zostańcie z nami, bo będzie się działo :D

So as some people may already know, one of the TV Guides listing Code Geass R2 Episode 23 mentions that Nunally who was thought to be dead is now alive and revealed to be "allied" with Schneizel "against" Lelouch.  This caused a massive shitstorm from noted Internet Commentator Les Whinin as all developments do now with R2 and people started once again claiming "Oh....Oh no oh dear this doesn't make sense, there's no way she could have survived, oh my poor brain is fried", "Lol this is Sunrise. lolololol", "Look everybody, this screenshot says that Fleija transferred them to another space.  That's lololololol!", "Hahahaha! Lol that's so stupid, why did they do this! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!" and so on.  Well I think Internet Commentator Les Whinin oughta do a little More Thinkin and a little Les Whinin.  You see, I already had a theory long before this on how she could reasonably be alive.  So for the people that give a damn about actual working theory versus engaging in lolfests (and I'm sure you do exist), here it is again for your convenience.

Klashikari mentioned that there was something odd about the whole ship set-up with Rohmeyer and Nunally when he watched it, and from looking at the scenes again (and again), I think she (or rather Schneizel) pulled a decoy maneuver and Nunally’s ship was actually just outside the area of the explosion.  Here’s why:

- When Rohmeyer is having Nunally loaded on to the ship despite her protests she mentions something about sending Nunally on ahead of her as per an order by Schneizel in one of those general evacuations of high ranking officials.  She also mentions something about a lack of KF escorts so as to not draw any attention to the ship.  We never see Rohmeyer board the ship Nunally’s on and she mentions that as soon as the Gefujion disturbers are taken care of that Nunally’s ship will leave the area.  This happens at 9:30.

- No later then 8 minutes afterward at 18:10 “Nunally’s ship” with Rohmeyer “on it” appears to ”STILL” be in the docking bay as Rolo approaches it, and there also appears to be a complement of KF’s ready to take of to escort it, which Rohmeyer said was not going to happen with Nunally’s ship.  Rohmeyer is also sitting in the right hand seat.  How could Britannia screw things up this bad and appear to take so long?

- At 19:20 Sayoko barges in on Nunally with a complement of men.  Rohmeyer doesn’t appear to respond to any sort of intrusion if she were there and one has to wonder why Sayoko didn’t rendevouz with Rolo as they should have passed each other on the way to the ship by this point and met up in the hangar.  No recognition that they met up at all.

Rolo: If I Think The Bomb Has Killed The Girl.....Hmmmmmm

- At 20:20 Rolo’s in one of the KF’s for gods sake.  What’s he doing in that.  Ready to shoot at the ship Rohmeyer’s in?  How did he and Sayoko not see each other.  Anyway it’s at this point the kid definitely makes a run for it.

- At 20:37 Sayoko is standing beside Nunally.  Rohmeyer still appears to not have responded and…..she isn’t even in the right hand seat…

- At 20:41 Rohmeyer is in the right hand seat, still hasn’t responded to any sort of intrusion and looks toast.

- At 21:40 Rolo claims to Lelouch that Nunally is dead.

So what the fuck eh?  How does this make sense when there’s so much contradictions.  I KNOW! IT MUST BE BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD WRITING!  IT MUST, BECAUSE PEOPLE CAN'T MAKE SENSE OF IT AND IT'S JUST A BUNCH OF PLOT HOLES!  Ahem.....well my theory is simple actually.  After Sayoko rescued Karen she went on ahead to find Nunally and to try and Rendevouz with Rolo and found the ship Nunally was on.  Around the same time the Gefujion disturbers were disabled and Nunally’s ship left with Sayoko and her men aboard.  She never passed Rolo because he hadn’t even reached the hangar yet.  Eight minutes later Rohmeyer is on a decoy ship with KF’s to make it look like the governor general is aboard and Rolo walks in to find the ship, assuming reasonably that Nunally is on it he commandeers a KF to try and blow up the ship and kill her.  Meanwhile Sayoko barges in on Nunally in the ship she’s really on and Rohmeyer doesn’t respond at all because she’s actually on the decoy back in the hangar.  Nunally’s ship is probably just outside the area by this point.  When the bomb goes off Rohmeyer is caught in it in her decoy ship and goes up in a ball of flames.  Rolo has run away once he thinks he knows what’s going on with Fleija (whatever it’s called) and somehow made it to safety.  How I’m not sure as that thing had a pretty big blast radius.  So when he reports to Rolo he talks about the ship Rohmeyer is on and really isn’t lying when he says Nunally is dead, because he honestly thinks she is.  In reality I think she’s okay and with Sayoko elsewhere.  Though that elsewhere might be in Schneizel's clutches.

Well that’s my theory and for now it seems to make sense at least to me unless I missed something.  We'll see if it gets proven or not in the coming episodes.  Why make it look like Nunally died though?  Well a) character development reasons and b) because.  And not to mention that despite all the clues they had people convinced with a claim on a website.  I've said it once and I'll say it again, I trust my own eyes before I trust a website and I always suspected bullshit from the homepage.  That and it kind of insulted my intelligence a little too much.  Considering they can spin it so that it's from what we believe know as of a particular episode (and it's not like they ever tried to claim otherwise going by the up to the minute nature of the correlative page on character's status) I hold that page up to constant skepticism.

So anyway, what do I envision as a resolution for the little blind girl now that she's alive.  Well simple really.  After it's all said and done I imagine Jeremiah in one last act of loyalty to her using his Geass Canceller to let her see again.  And the first thing she sees when she opens her eyes?  Her brother, for the first time in 8 years.  Give me that moment Okuchi and I will give you the nod.

I, however, was too much of a moron to grasp the metaphor, and accused me of being some high-and-mighty elitist bastard. This shocked me as much as it did me, because as I was myself, I was basically accusing me - and therefore myself - of being a high-and-mighty elitist bastard. Furthermore, I pointed out that the interview had been released quite a while ago, and that bringing it up now was a foolish act on my part. In fact, I revealed that I had been aware of this much before I knew about it, and mocked me for being 'out of the loop'.

I once again accused me of being a Code Geass R2 hater, and I had to remind myself that I was a fan of Code Geass, regardless of plan failure or not. This resulted in a vicious battle between me and myself and I was forced to intervene. In the resulting chaos, I nearly lost an eye to myself, proving the old saying "It's all fun and games until I nearly poke out my own eye" true. In short, all I can say is that I really, really, REALLY despise me.

During my time off I got into a few really good anime's, here are my top 3 picks.

Kekkaishi: A cliche story about a boy who is chosen to protect a mysterious area which is constantly under attack. Don't be fooled... the story may seem a bit cliche but for some reason its stands out amongs the crowd.  The series is around 52 eps and continues with the Manga. More info...

Code Geass and Code Geass R2: Mind bending anime a bit to do with politics and a little bit of Mech fighting all arounf very good series also the seconds season R2 is wrapping up as you read this so I recommend checking this one out first. More info...

Gundam 00: Ah yes I know you remember the Gundam series I i know you're telling yourself "im not going to watch another Gundam saga" but trust me this one is good, it is WAY more realistic than the rest of em Its so good that  a second season will be out soon. More info...

It's that time of the year again! Exactly one year ago i posted My reverse Harem. It was quite popular so i felt like doing it again since it really does need to be updated.

My last Harem has at least one guy that needs to be removed. Sorry but Renji, you're out. The suckyness of Bleach has ruined my love for you. Even though you were a big part of my harem last year my tastes have changed and my love for you has just kept dwindling. Also I'm removing Gene Starwind, not that i don't' like him anymore, but really, my Harem needs space for some new meat!

Now onwards to my list!

Sagara Sousuke
Anime: Full Metal Panic (2002)

It's hard for me to describe why i love Souske so much. I mentioned in my last harem post how i loved his quirkiness and that hasn't changed. I think the biggest reason he's still on the list is Full Metal Panic's re-watchablity. If it were a series that i would watch once then forget he wouldn't even be up for consideration. Plus I had just purchased the first two novels of FMP and my love for Souske and the FMP story was re-ignited in a big way. The novels are really amazing and if you haven't picked them up i really suggest you do so.

Kamina
Anime: Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann (2007)

I've Loved Kamina since i saw the first episode of Gurren Lagann last year. Kamina is a character that is hard to not like. While his life may have been ended short he was never forgotten within the Dai Gurren Dan. And he'll never be forgotten for me. He's a major part of Gurren Lagann's story and honestly without him they wouldn't have made it as far as they did. While Simon may have been the one with the power, without his Aniki there to back him up with a big grin he wouldn't have been able to get as far as he did. Characters like Kamina are the reason i love anime so much. You don't see characters or people like Kamina often and if you do they are deemed reckless idiots. But there was a method to Kamina's madness (not that he was crazy.) Plus he's so badass he gets a place on my car as well!

Now normally i wait a few months before I add another person into my harem. I've got to make sure it's love and not infatuation. But i have to make an exception for this guy. I've already professed my love once and here i am doing it again. Lockon Stratos, You are worthy of my Harem! I'm sooo eager for the next season of Gundam 00, I'm eager to see what they will do with Lockon's character. I was reminded on how there was a scene in the first season where Lockon goes to leave flowers at his familie's grave, and there were already flowers and someone who looked EXACTLY like Lockon hiding in the shadows. I'm just worried that this new Lockon is going to be some evil jerk... So for now until we see how Lockon will be in the next season. I'm going to specify that the Lockon i <3 is Lockon Stratos of Season 1.

The second time a Seki Tomokazu character makes my list. For nobu it's quite simple as to why he's on my list, It's the Guitar. Nobu is a Hopeless romantic who just wants to write music and find his love. He's had his heart broken by Hachi and while Nana and Hachi may be the main characters, Nobu is a main reason i keep reading. I'm still hoping that somewhere down the road Hachi returns to Nobu. But i have no idea what will happen since NO IS RELEASING SCANS OF NANA!!!!!!!

Want to know why Tomoya is in my list? Other than the fact that he looks hot shirtless? He's the first guy in a Harem type anime (that i've seen) that has some backbone. Most Harem leads are spineless wimps who wouldn't really amount to much. They are your typical losers, yet all the girls somehow fall for him. Tomoya is Sarcastic and a delinquent, yet he has had his share of problems in his life. It was so refreshing to see a male lead be so awesome in this type of show. For his sarcastic nature and still willing to help out the girls who do need help, Tomoya gets a spot in my Harem.

Well in most harems there is the typical "loli" character or Imouto. So why i can't i have my Shota character?I've always liked Syaoran since i first saw CCS in Middle School. I wonder now why i didn't add him to my original Harem, he's always a character I've had a soft spot for.How he goes from Rival to Love Interest is just so awesome! Now don't get this confused with Syaoran of Tsubasa Chronicles. Yes i could have used him instead and had someone who would have been closer to a much more legal age. But in all honesty i didn't like Tsubasa Chronicles as much as i adored CCS.

Saotomoe Alto
Anime: Macross Frontier (2008)
Seiyuu: Nakamura Yuuichi

Only reason Alto isn't in my harem is that Macross Frontier is still too new. Alto so far, is pretty cool and badass in my book. Plus i adore his hair! But there is still so much more of Macross to come and Alto's Character could either get much more awesome, or it go go south...I'd rather wait till next year to decide on whether or not he's still worthy of my harem. But for now he's just a runner up.

Harima Kenji
Anime: School Rumble (2004)
Seiyuu: Takahashi Hiroki

Harima sadly only has one thing that is a very large fault that isn't even his fault. He looks too much like my ex boyfriend. But Harima is much cuter and much more badass. His likeness to a real life person who i despise is the reason Harmia isn't in my Harem. While his personality is nothing like my EX at all. His character design is all too similar. But since i still love harima for his personality he's a runner up for my harem.

Simon
Anime: Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann (2007)
Seiyuu: Kakihara Tetsuya

I have only one real rule that i follow for my harem. No two characters of the same series. For that Simon gets the ax. Sorry Simon while the second Arc of Gurren Lagann shows how awesome Simon really is, in my mind he still never surpasses my love for Kamina. Plus without Kamina, Simon would never have been even remotly as awesome as he gets near the end!

Dr. Franken Stein
Anime: Soul Eater (2008)
Seiyuu: Uchida Yuya

Once again another left out of the harem since his character is still too new. Stein is still pretty badass and i really like his character but since the show is still far too new, i can't put him in my harem since his character can go up or down really.

Kururugi Suzaku
Anime: Code Geass( 2006)
Seiyuu: Sakurai Takahiro

Why isn't Suzaku in my harem? I did profess my love to him just the other day! Simple, Geass is almost done and we have no idea what Sunrise is going to pull on us now! They may find a way to make me not like Suzaku anymore. i want Geass to be complete before i honestly sit and decide if i have in my harem or not.
