SIN QUE EL GOBIERNO DEL PP DESARROLLE LA LEY DE RENTA GARANTIZADA DE CIUDADANÍA, DENUNCIA UGT

El sindicato UGT-PV ha exigido a la Generalitat la "inmediata aplicación" de la Ley de Renta Garantizada de Ciudadanía en la Comunitat Valenciana, donde el 19,6 por ciento de los ciudadanos se encuentra por debajo del umbral de la pobreza relativa.

En un comunicado, UGT-PV insta a que se den los últimos pasos para su puesta en marcha, como la aprobación de la Orden que fija el modelo de solicitud y el procedimiento para acogerse, y la creación de las Comisiones Mixtas que se encargan de realizar el Plan de Reinserción Laboral de las personas beneficiadas de la Ley.

Decreto paralizado. La UGT-PV recuerda que el pasado 8 de julio fue aprobado el Decreto que regula la Ley de Renta Garantizada de Ciudadanía, recogida en el Estatuto de Autonomía de la Comunitat Valenciana y que reconoce el derecho a una renta para aquellas personas que se encuentran en situación de exclusión social. En la Comunitat Valenciana, según el sindicato, un 19,6% de los ciudadanos se encuentra por debajo del umbral de la pobreza relativa, es decir que uno de cada cinco ciudadanos y ciudadanas valencianas vive con menos de 565 euros mensuales.

Ayudas de hasta 603 euros en el aire. Con esta ley, aquellas personas que tengan una edad entre 25 y 65 años y que se encuentren en situación de exclusión social tendrán derecho a recibir una renta mensual que oscilará entre los 373,89 euros y los 603,05, siempre y cuando exista voluntad por parte de la persona destinataria a seguir un itinerario de inserción sociolaboral, con el objeto de evitar su permanencia en la situación de exclusión social.

El PP vulnera un derecho universal. No obstante, ha criticado que de la lectura del Decreto aprobado se intuye que se tratará de una Orden que regulará una convocatoria, por lo que de ser así se abriría un plazo de tiempo determinado para solicitar la renta garantizada limitándola en el tiempo. Para la UGT-PV, este hecho "entraría en contradicción con el reconocimiento de un derecho, que es de carácter universal y que no puede verse vulnerado, ni por un Decreto ni por una Orden. "Si cuando hablamos de Renta Garantizada de Ciudadanía hablamos de un derecho, no deben haber ni plazos ni limitaciones de tiempo para acogerse a ella", ha considerado el sindicato.

I did all the filming, editing and After Effects work, except for the credits.  Isn't it great!?  I don't really like the music that much, but hey, it was fun! I worked with great teachers, and students.  I really like the camp.   I would do it more this summer, but it's over 700 dollars for a week.  Yeah.

Catarsis total. Los socialistas valencianos meditan cambiar la histórica denominación del PSPV-PSOE para eliminar las siglas de ‘País Valencià' y sustituirlas por ‘Comunitat Valenciana'. Ésta será una de las propuestas que se debatirán en el próximo congreso que los socialistas valencianos celebrarán en septiembre. Las derrotas cosechadas en la Comunitat desde 1995 han hecho pensar a amplios sectores del partido que éste ha dejado de sintonizar con una sociedad que ha cambiado más deprisa que la estructura orgánica de Blanquerías.

7/5：

在下午時我回到了清大來準備外語營。今天晚上首先是要先進行營前說明會，其實也就是先大約說明一下往後幾天會做什麼事。老實說這天晚上大約發生了什麼事我已經記不得了= =
唯一記得的事就是只花了一小時說明，接著我就回宿舍上網去了。

7/6：
今天早上九點集合。因為我是器材股的關係，所以工作項目主要就是搬運器材與購買用具等等出賣勞力之辛苦事項。早上的時間我就跟著生活股的人一起去搬運小隊員們要用的睡袋，下午就驗大地遊戲，最後晚上的一點時間是練習明天要跳的早操。由於早操沒有跳好，所以還多留了約一小時重驗才回到宿舍(怒

7/7：

早上一開始就驗了早操，結果還算可以。今天比較閒一點點，晚上就去跑食字路口的活動。

7/8：

下午去跑了RPG，腳走到超酸還得到最後一名。晚上則是去跑夜教。

7/9：

今天下午跑了我們器材股與課程股所設計出來的黃金傳奇關卡，基本上大部份的問題都解決了。明天就是營期的開始。

7/10早上：

原本以為早上可以小逛一下網頁後再去吃早餐，但沒想到學長打電話來說要去幫忙搬運東西。再加上還有東西沒有購買，讓我今天早餐午餐不是一起吃，是一起省了。

接下來就是正式的營期，我會寫得比較詳細一點點。

7/10中午：
剛跟學長一起採買東西回來後，就得到小隊員已經來臨的消息。馬上連午餐都沒吃就去跟她們一起相處。經過一會兒的等待，我所在的第五小隊隊員們都全部到齊了。成員有八女一男，一開始感覺上大家都是蠻安靜和害羞的，話不多，但這很正常。身為隊輔的我就立刻先跟她們哈拉一下下，要她們自我介紹後就先來玩些團康遊戲炒炒氣氛，順便認識彼此。(不過在這裡我要跟我的小隊員說聲抱歉，雖然我都認得你們，但最後我都沒有在記名字了，導致有幾個人的名字我還沒有辦法跟人搭起來=.=”)
之後時間一到我們就前往始業式的地方正式開始我們的2008外語營。之後就帶著五小(第五小隊)們進行今天的第一個活動-黃金傳奇。過程還算是順利，唯一的缺點就是含水說話的那關實在是太不恰當了，讓小隊員嗆到實在是很不好意思。

到了晚上，外語營的第一份晚餐是水餃DIY。我們的小隊員包得都很不錯唷，不像我包得超爛的，不過應該不會被煮破吧(汗
由於今天早餐午餐都沒吃，唯一的晚餐時間當然得多吃一點啦。但也只是比平常多吃了五顆吧=.=

再來用過晚餐後，就是今天的重頭戲-晚會囉。先在活動中心前跳了一段熱舞House後，就進到R102教室觀賞開幕戲了。晚上的消夜是龍門凍圓，雖然連我這個超挑食的人都覺得不錯，不過可能是還不夠餓吧，只吃了一半，很多小隊員也都沒有吃完，真是不好意思。

7/11：
早上7點起床後就發現我睡過頭了=.= 原本計畫是要6點半起床，七點就去男宿叫小隊員起床。但醒來後發現已經是6：54，鬧鐘不曉得什麼時後被我按掉了。還好趕緊打電話給守夜的阿得，請他先幫忙叫小隊員起床。今天是跳生活股所教的早操。早餐是吃土司+奶茶。從今天開始就有外語相關的課程要上了。首先是系主任Katchen 柯安娜。她就講了一些有關如何進入外語系的資訊、文學組和語言組的課、以及外語系畢業後的未來出路等等。最後就介紹一些有關哈利波特的英文單字。因為她本身有出過一本介紹哈利波特裡所用的單字，而她本身也是這方面的專家，所以就講了一些。
再來是久違的文讀老師-Guy的登場。不改他的風格，上課的內容主要還是在於如何分析文學之類的。當然，他還是很受歡迎。在這次的外語營裡我想他應該算是其中一個最受歡迎的老師吧。

經過午餐及午休時間後就是上第二外語的課程。由於小隊輔也可以跟著一起上，所以我就選了日文。這對我而言剛好是個可以先體驗一下下學期的初日課，而且順便加強我的五十音。講師是周雅玲，算起來我跟她也是有點緣份。我在大一時每個星期三中午都會有勞服的時間(就是打掃時間)，而我掃的那間教室剛好就是雅玲姊的上課地點，所以我總是會遇到她。雖然我們之間沒有什麼對話，但她在我心目中可是留下了深刻的印象呢。而這次能夠上到她的課真是讓我覺得超感動的(淚

果然有人教才會學得比較快，對五十音又比較熟一點了。

上完課後接著是遊戲時間，今天我們要玩的是RPG。排練時我跟隊輔Jimmy可是拿到了最後一名呢，不過正式來果然就是不一樣，我們的第五小隊拿到了第三名。真是可喜可賀呀XD

晚餐過後就是今天的重頭戲-夜教了。但因為剛剛才下過雨，雖然雨已經停了，但由於考慮到場地潮溼，最後還是決定在人社院裡進行。因為臨時換地方所以時間也delay了一下才開始進行。很不幸的是一開始我們其中有個小隊員就被嚇哭了，這也讓我感到有點depressed。由於深怕我的小隊員又被嚇到，因此我就幫他們擋了一次被鬼嚇的機會( 看起來好像會有人偷偷躲著的角落+走過去時已經看到人了)。結束後一切都沒事了，大家開心地吃著仙草冰結束這一天。

7/12：
現在是凌晨4點2x分，我接到Jimmy的電話，現在是我的守夜時間。慘了我又睡過頭了，原本計畫是要大約4點起床，但沒想到在我放了兩個鬧鈴(鬧鐘+手機)的情況之下還是睡過頭orz。話說我在清大可說是沒有睡過頭過，因為我都會提早上課時間一個小時以上起床，所以就算是睡過頭也只有多睡了10~20分鐘。因此這兩次睡過頭對我而言可真是奇恥大辱呀。在跟Jimmy說我要出門後就趕緊梳洗換裝，到男宿時算是遲到了6分鐘。Sorry呀吉米。

話說守夜真是超痛苦的，意識可以不清到我覺得我馬上可以表演昏倒。如果沒有睡一下真的會死。但我除了最後一天的第三次守夜有睡一小時以外其餘兩次守夜都沒睡。早上7點後就叫小隊員起床。今天的早操是美宣股負責。之後早上的時間還是一樣上課，今天由曹逢甫教授上課，他是我下學期應語的教授，希望聽過後能夠對他的教學方式有點印象。他大約上了快一小時半後就換成寶玉上課。但此時我由於守夜的關係已經開始神智不清了，因此我就趕緊跟Jimmy換班，跑到人社圖書館去補眠。同時也有許多位小隊輔跟我一起進行這項活動(第三天大家就都累垮了…對未來兩天感到憂心orz

BTW, 今天也是小隊輔遲到最多的一天，不用說全部都是睡過頭，但還好就是主要有帶隊的隊輔都算是有到，不至於讓整個活動停擺。

晚上有食字路口的活動，就是帶小隊員們到清大消夜街吃吃喝喝+闖關。

7/13：
現在是凌晨快五點，我才剛結束漫長的守夜生活。有鑒於我前兩次都睡過頭，因此我決定趴在桌上睡，剛好也只能睡大約1小時半。這招果然有效，趴在桌上睡不會讓你睡很久，也就是不會讓你進入昏睡深層睡眠。
今天早上剛好也是我和課程股的小布與Jade的早操教學時間，但沒想到由於器材出了點問題，讓今天先進行早餐時間，之後才開始跳早操。(由於守夜時我吃了一包大包的蚵仔煎，讓我感到肚子不太舒服…跳過早操後感覺好多了，於是就吃了早餐，但沒想到這又讓我感到不舒服了orz)

由於今天我是跳完早操後才開始用餐+肚子不舒服，所以早上一開始的課我並沒有去聽，後來是換成下一個老師後我才進去。但我也慶幸我有聽到這位黃老師的課，因為實在是太精彩了，講了很多有關翻譯的事以及她本身的經驗。活潑有趣的講課也讓她成為Guy之後第二個超受歡迎的老師XD

下午上完最後一堂的第二外語課後，就有一個勞作時間。香菇老師帶領著大家一起做著相框與卡片的東西。這門課我就有話要說一下啦，不曉得怎麼回事大部份的隊輔都開始聊天拍照，很少陪在小隊員身邊。而我自覺今天好像很少陪他們，同時我的肚痛也好得差不多了。因此我就一直在旁邊協助指導他們(我可沒有誇大唷=..=)
最後大家都完成了這次的勞作，真是可喜可賀！！！

晚上時後有個Free Night，這個時間是給小隊自行活動。最後我們這個小隊到了交大一遊。還買了仙草蜜到交大的土地公廟=w=。最後買了一些吃的就到交大操場聊天。最後我因為有5：00~8：00的守夜所以就提前離開了。

7/14：
這是最後一天。目前我正在守夜。好險今天我的手機把我給叫起床了，不然守夜的阿倫可能會一路睡到早上而混然不知。在到男宿時我看到一個奇怪的畫面：我們隊上的佳駿自己一個人跑到冷氣故障的房間趴在桌上睡，而且房門還是打開的。當時我想他可能是感到太熱了所以才這麼做。不過由於守夜太累了讓我等一下有個奇怪的想法：房門打開該不會是遭小偷吧！？於是我馬上過去看一下有無財物的損失，發現桌上的相機還在，而且房門有被椅子頂住。好吧這應該是他自己用的=.=” 之後我還是把門關上了。

早上了，小隊員們一個個被我給叫了起來。先到結業式的地方放下行李後就去吃早餐。今天也沒有早操要跳了。所以用餐完後就馬上進行外語營最後一個遊戲-大地遊戲。我跟香菇就一起擔任其中一關的關主，其實這次的活動也比較輕鬆，算是個不錯的結尾。吃完午餐後，就是進行最後一項活動-結業式。每個小隊輪流上台拿結業證書，順便講些感性的話和合照，有不少人都哭了。而到了我們第五小隊上台，一開始還算是蠻歡樂的，但沒想到佳駿太感動了所以就流下男兒淚。好吧，如果是高興的眼淚就沒關係唷>_^

To芸芸： 雖然你們都說我很可愛，不過我覺得可愛比較適合你啦。

To凱祈&沛穎&瓊芳：到最後好像都在聽我的搞笑故事了，希望你們聽得高興。 (對不起把你們都放在一起了=口=”)

To翌瑄： 你應該聽了我不少故事吧，那也讓我們相處了不少時間，希望你會滿意。

International Criminal Court Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo has presented evidence today showing that Sudanese President, Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir committed the crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur.

Three years after the Security Council requested him to investigate in Darfur, and based on the evidence collected, the Prosecutor has concluded there are reasonable grounds to believe that Omar Hassan Ahmad AL BASHIR bears criminal responsibility in relation to 10 counts of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

The Prosecution evidence shows that Al Bashir masterminded and implemented a plan to destroy in substantial part the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa groups, on account of their ethnicity. Members of the three groups, historically influential in Darfur, were challenging the marginalization of the province; they engaged in a rebellion. AL BASHIR failed to defeat the armed movements, so he went after the people. “His motives were largely political. His alibi was a ‘counterinsurgency.’ His intent was genocide. ” The Prosecutor said.

For over 5 years, armed forces and the Militia/Janjaweed, on AL BASHIR orders, have attacked and destroyed villages. They then pursued the survivors in the desert. Those who reached the camps for the displaced people were subjected to conditions calculated to bring about their destruction. AL BASHIR obstructs international assistance. His forces surround the camps. One victim said: “When we see them, we run. Some of us succeed in getting away, and some are caught and taken to be raped -- gang-raped. Maybe around 20 men rape one woman. […] These things are normal for us here in Darfur. These things happen all the time. I have seen rapes too. It does not matter who sees them raping the women -- they don't care. They rape girls in front of their mothers and fathers”.

For over 5 years, millions of civilians have been uprooted from lands they occupied for centuries, all their means of survival destroyed, their land spoliated and inhabited by new settlers. ‘In the camps AL BASHIR’s forces kill the men and rape the women. He wants to end the history of the Fur, Masalit and Zaghawa people’ said the Prosecutor. ‘I don’t have the luxury to look away. I have evidence’.

For over 5 years, AL BASHIR has denied the crimes. He says rape does not exist in the Sudan. This is a fabrication. “By preventing the truth about the crimes from being revealed; concealing his crimes under the guise of a ‘counterinsurgency strategy’, or ‘inter tribal clashes’, or the ‘actions of lawless autonomous militia’, AL BASHIR made possible the commission of further crimes. He promoted and provided impunity to his subordinates in order to secure their willingness to commit genocide” The Prosecutor said.

Al BASHIR’s intent to commit genocide became clear with the well coordinated attacks on the 2.450.000 civilians who found a haven in the camps. “AL BASHIR organized the destitution, insecurity and harassment of the survivors. He did not need bullets. He used other weapons: rapes, hunger, and fear. As efficient, but silent.” Said the Prosecutor.

Today, the evidence shows that AL BASHIR, instead of assisting the people of Darfur, has mobilised the entire state apparatus, including the armed forces, the intelligence services, the diplomatic and public information bureaucracies, and the justice system, to subject the 2.450.000 people living in IDP’s camps, most of them members of the target group, to conditions of life calculated to bring about their physical destruction.

“AL BASHIR is the President. He is the Commander in Chief. Those are not just formal words. He used the whole state apparatus, he used the army, he enrolled the Militia/Janjaweed. They all report to him, they all obey him. His control is absolute.” added Prosecutor Moreno-Ocampo.

The Pre-Trial Chamber I will now review the evidence. If the judges determine that there are reasonable grounds to believe that the named individual committed the alleged crimes, they will decide on the best manner to ensure his appearance in court. The Prosecution has requested an arrest warrant.

the fun thing today was preparing for telematch and filling balloons with water. and then playing the waterballoon station ourselves because it was already 2, 3 hours b4 the participants arrived.

had this feedback session after tt which wasnt really feedback to me. i was too tired or pissed to feedback anything. was just there to listen and see who had useful comments. do admit our programmed games have flaws but we do lack manpower. even if ah sun programmers are a big group. i dunno who will be more tired, the gls or the programmers. and i also wonder who will get to have more fun. more likely gls. but im very glad ah sun programmers are bonded enough. ah, im not being cliquish. thanks everyone who came and supported the senior camp. thanks welfare for doing a good job. thanks melvin for driving the lorry. thanks doreen, belinda, pang cheng jun, guo hao, yew hang(for your cap and you're always taking photos, clarence (for walking frightnight with me), shu jing, ah sun programmers for being there and keeping me entertained just by talking to me.

oh and the people who watched the 9pm show with me, like andy chua and all, great fun. i dun think its fun to watch the show again without u all. needless to say, u wun have tt much fun watching it without me. hur.

and it was fun packing the goodie bags. im eyeing several items including the male or pink ones. i noe i v kiasu! goodie bags always make me super happy. oh and elsa gave me the rest of the asience hair conditioner. 6 small bottles. happy! why? cuz i always bring it to camps. i love the smell also! samples rock my socks.

its going to be nbs camp tmr. im still pretty scared of going to camp because im not a true syndro member. never go camp and you dun really get the welcome feeling. but hey, there's trina, sabrina, yin li and the hall 15 hall queen (who i just befriended. she's v nice cuz she doesnt noe me at all but she smiled at me and talked to me and for that, she's an angel. forgot her name though. will ask her for her name again.) and mei si also. so that's quite a few syndro people i noe, not including the GLs (i know them too!) it helps that mirage people are nice friendly people so i can always drop by their group instead. shaun and i are amused there's a kristle lookalike who dresses like her and has the same hair and height and the same side view. i like her already!

Weniger als 2 Wochen, bis wir zum ersten Bergfieber Outdoorcamp aufbrechen. Ziel ist der Naturpark Ötscher, wo wir den Ötscher Gipfel stürmen, in den Ötschergräben wandern und im wunderschönen Erlaufsee schwimmen werden. Zudem lockt ein Hochseilgarten und diverse Klettermöglichkeiten.

El PSPV reclamó este miércoles que el Ayuntamiento de Valencia inste al presidente de la Generalitat, Francisco Camps, a dar respuesta por escrito a las preguntas y peticiones que la Asociación de Víctimas del Metro 3 de Julio ha hecho llegar al Consell y que reclame al Gobierno valenciano la dotación a la línea 1 de los "mismos sistemas técnicos y de otra índole" que ya tienen la 3 y la 5 para garantizar el "mismo nivel de seguridad en todas la líneas de metro que discurren por Valencia y, por extensión, en toda la Comunitat Valenciana".

Así lo dio a conocer en rueda de prensa el concejal socialista José Luis Ábalos, con motivo del cumplimiento del segundo aniversario del accidente de la línea 1 de Metro Valencia ocurrido el 3 de julio de 2006 en la estación de Jesús, donde perdieron la vida 43 personas y otras 47 resultaron heridas. El PSPV ha presentado dos mociones para su debate por el pleno municipal del próximo viernes. Una de ellas recoge las demandas y planteamientos realizados por la asociación de víctimas.En este sentido, los socialistas también reclaman que el Ayuntamiento en pleno guarde un minuto de silencio a las puertas del Consistorio el próximo 3 de julio a las 12.00 horas como "recordatorio del trágico suceso y poniéndose así al lado de los familiares de las víctimas y sus reivindicaciones".La Asociación de Víctimas del Metro 3 de Julio viene solicitando desde el accidente que se tomen las medidas necesarias para mejorar la seguridad en la línea 1 y que se asuman responsabilidades. Ábalos relató que la entidad reclama una Ley del Ferrocarril y transparencia en las indemnizaciones, pone énfasis en el seguimiento realizado a los heridos, se queja de la atención dada por las compañías aseguradoras y reclama conocer los planes de inversión de Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat (FGV) hasta el accidente y los previstos para el futuro. El concejal socialista explicó que los familiares de las víctimas le han transmitido "muchas quejas por el trato recibido" por la Administración valenciana y lamentan que el jefe del Consell no les hubiera recibido tras el accidente. Al respecto, Ábalos afirmó que el silencio administrativo en este caso es "poco sensible". Confió en que la moción consiga el próximo viernes en el pleno el "consenso necesario" porque está "cargada de sensatez y sensibilidad". Indicó que el documento no recoge ninguna propuesta original del PSPV, que ha actuado en este caso como "mero transmisor". Incidió en que los miembros de la asociación están "muy dolidos con el silencio que se ha dado sobre este tema", cuando "hechos nada similares que afectan también al transporte, como los problemas con las Cercanías ocurridos en Barcelona, han tenido un gran impacto, con la petición de responsabilidades políticas y la censura a la ministra". "No se trata de sacar punta a nada" sino de que un accidente como el ocurrido hace dos años no vuelva a repetirse, resaltó.

The city's Disaster Management Centre says an estimated 5 800 displaced African expatriates remain in places of safety, down from an estimated 20 000 at the height of the xenophobic attacks.

Head of the centre Greg Pillay says the city has spent R70 million on relief efforts.

Some of the expatriates are staying in temporary camps - 620 at Youngsfield, 440 at Blue Waters, 430 at Harmony Park near Gordons Bay, and 130 at Silverstream on the West Coast, according to staff at the camps.

The rest are being accommodated in municipal halls and on private properties, such as churches and mosques.

At the Chrysalis Academy in Tokai, where 165 expatriates are being accommodated, the displaced people and volunteers were upset when the provincial government took over responsibility for the supply of food two days ago.

Volunteers had been cooking three meals a day, using a kitchen at the academy. Now the expatriates are receiving the same food as those in safety camps.

"The food has obviously changed and people were frustrated, but it's wrong to tempt them with stuff they cannot afford when they leave here - it creates expectations," Chrysalis chief executive Nomfundo Matroos said.

A Muslim relief organisation, Mustadafin Foundation, was feeding 3 600 people a day, down from 12 000 four weeks ago, spokesperson Alia Lambada said.

The organisation allocated R5 for breakfast and R12 for supper for each person each day and had spent more than R1m, Lambada said.

The SA National Zakáh Fund has spent about R1 million.

The Salvation Army has spent about R250 000 on blankets, food and petrol, while Historically Disadvantaged Individuals Support is feeding 1 700 people, down from 7 600 a few weeks ago.

Ich habe mir in der letzten Zeit gelegentlich die Berichte angesehen, in denen straffällig gewordene oder besonders schwer erziehbare Jugendliche fern ab jeder Zivilisation „umerzogen“ werden. Grundsätzlich finde ich es erstmal gut, dass man sich überhaupt darum kümmert, den Jugendlichen zu helfen, um sie aus dem Teufelskreis der Perspektivlosigkeit und Gewalt herauszuholen. Aber lässt sich das nicht bei uns besser machen. Müssen wir wirklich 5 Jugendliche mit ebenso vielen Betreuern nach Amerika schicken, um ihnen beizubringen, wie man sich in der Gesellschaft verhält. Etwas ironisch könnte man behaupten, in Brandenburg gibt es auch genügend Orte, an denen man drei Tage laufen muss, um zur nächsten bewohnten Ansiedlung zu kommen, aber das meine ich nicht. Mir geht es darum, die Jugendlichen dort zu erziehen, wo sie später auch leben sollen und nicht in die Ferne schicken. Oftmals ist es doch auch der Freundeskreis, in den sie nach erfolgreicher Therapie wieder zurückkehren, der sie negativ beeinflusst. Ich würde nicht einzelne Menschen versuchen wieder zu integrieren, sondern ganze Gruppen, so wie sie eben auch im Alltag zusammen leben, damit der Erfolg auch langfristig wirkt.

Although I sprained my ankle while running down the hill of grass, I really had the craziest time of my life with the games both at Sentosa and at the Sports Hall. :-) Anyhow, I did get quite a scare for Fright Night! Actually I even cried at the station but thinking back, I wish we were able to go for all 3 stations but due to time constraints, we only went for one. :-(  Arts bash on Thursday night was really fun as well. It was at Taboo and apparently it is a gay club! Haha but still I found the place and dance floor too small so we all got squashed up like sardines. The music was kinda under the themes of techno and retro as well but I guess most songs had a good rhythm to dance to. Anyhow, one of us got drunk and had to be carried to the van-full of drunkards. Hahaha, the photos were really hilarious and I need to post them up to share! Stay tuned.

I don't have any photos right now since I didn't want to risk losing my camera at camp and so I'm gonna have to wait for my dearest rommie and OGL to download all the pictures before I can post them up! Anyhow, I'm so blessed to have the best and sweetest room mate (Liyun!) ever at camp and we have really similar habits of putting hair oil, smelling nice all the time and looking good. Hahaha. ;-) Besides that, I really think our OGLs were all very sporting, encouraging and caring towards all of us especially during the crazy games where we were told to drink up and hydrate ourselves many many times. Love you guys too! <3

I can't wait for our very first SUSHI outing! :-)

It's been a while since I've let you know what's going on.  But that does not mean that there hasn't been anything happening.  Today was the last day of the best week of the year.  Every year I have the opportunity to attend "Super Summer".  Yes, this is a youth camp.  But see it's more that that, it's a camp strictly for Christ follower's, and student leaders in the church.  A camp for the student's that are already christians and wanting to go into the word on a new level.  At Super Summer we don't hear the gospel every night, we hear God's truths, and promises.  depending on age, you are in different schools.  And in these schools we learn something different every year.  This year I was in "Green School".  We studied the armor of Christ.  It was amazing!  God speaks in such real ways at camps.  It's a truly beautiful thing to be in a room full of 400 student believers with there hands raised praising the God of the universe.  My prayer is that now that all of us are home and safe, that we will not fall to the immoral world we live in.  I pray that we will stand in the name of Christ ready to battle the enemy to the point of death.

A l’occasion de l’exposition « Micro-narratives», cette artiste serbe présente des œuvres au crayon sur papier réalisées entre 2003 et 2004 mais jamais exposées. A travers cette série, Hana Rajkovic a voulu montrer des espaces créés par et pour les humains mais qu’ils ont abandonnés. Cependant, la cruauté et la peur qui règnent d’habitude dans ces espaces ont disparu en même temps que les êtres humains.

For the « Micro-narratives » exhibition, this Serbian artist presents works with pen on paper realized between 2003 and 2004 but never displayed. Through this cycle, Hana Rajkovic wanted to show spaces created by and for human beings but that they abandoned. But the usual cruelty and fear in these places disappeared in the same time than human beings.
