Maka and Soul move on after having a little bout with Ragnarok, who will be dealt with by Krona. Funny scene because Krona looked like she was about to get stripped since her dress was pulled =/. Death the Kid pursues Free and Elka. He was stunned and felt Asura's madness before he dodges Free's Demoneye cannon. It is here that Death and Free fight! Problem is Free is immortal, so Death tried to find a way to lose him, even using his Resonance, which had no impact at all. Death ended up dodging all Free's attack until Black Star arrived with Tsubaki in Ninja Sword mode. With Death as backup, Black Star started to approach Free using Speed Mode, gaining alot of agility, forcing Free to dodge them eventhough he's immortal. Death kinda stops the support, to realise why Free would dodge Blackstar and not him. BlackStar also placed a cut but there was no sound to it, leading to the conclusion Free was an image. Death just walks straight into Free and Free's plan was foiled. Free was projecting his 3D magic while standing on Tadpole Jackson.Too bad for our heroes, they lost significant amounts of time.

Elka and Free arrive to the final room, where Asura is held. They open the gates to see many pylons with yellow seals.They walk further in. The focus falls on Elka who is scared shitless. She can feel something is wrong but can't see it. Rainbow coloured Asura eye things. And then before we know it, Asura has taken apart Elka, by eating her. Fresh Meat! Free is not aware of this until 'Elka' screams. Free comes back to see what's wrong, after peering under her hat, Asura comes to rip Free apart. Interesting that because Free is immortal yet it felt like he was dieing. IT WAS A LIE. Nothing happened, just the madness of Asura playing with their minds. Interesting though because at the end,Elka's holding a point at her throat and Free's has a guillotine restraint around his neck. This whole illusion thing reminds me of Genjutsu in Naruto. Anyway, they finally approach the skin bag Asura is contained in. Medusa's final step in her plan is about to be executed. What are our heroes gonna do?!?!

Next episode seems to be a very promising one, one full of action! Stein up against Medusa. Hardcore battle from the preview we've seen. Not sure what will happen with Free and Elka, Death, Blackstar and Maka. Guess we'll find out next episode.

This post was suppose to be longer but since the web colapsed and i don't feel like rewriting EVERYTHING! THis is gonna be short. Today i finally had some free time so i decided to make a new-quick-skin for my Minitokyo =3 So i started with my Maka pic around 3 or so, then finished it around 4:30 because i had a hard time thinking what kind of background(bg) to use. Finally figured something simple. Me being happy i finished, in joy i went to my control panel to give life to my new skin. I spent more than 2 hours changing, guessing, dying, trying hard, looking for the right colors and of course the right color values. It was a nightmare, i was many time thinking in giving up. BUT i WANTED a NEW skin! So i had to continue for my own sake, if not who knows when i would have time to finished what i started. (i have very bad experiences in not finishing what i start.... specially on fanfics x_x) And after a lot of suffering, tears and pain. I finally got what i think is ok...

I found Soul Eater ep 22 but since i was already downloadin it i did not check it but instead found Macross Frontier 22~ The main reason why i watch that anime is for Sheryl Nome and that is all! To Ranka fans, SORRY if i offended you but just hate the girl, so "cute angel." I just find her stupid and really selfish. un pequeño review de la semana ^^ y como la universidad esta consumiendo mi vida será sobre eso de lo que hable xD ...

tuve dos parciales esta semana, el  de social estuvo fácil y si no me va bien no importa es una clase muy simple se puede recuperar, pero el examen de quimica O_O estuvo horrible! y no solo yo opiné eso, le vi la cara a todos y estaban casi igual de perdidos que yo, aun las cosas más simples y que creí ya tenia dominadas las pusieron muy muy dificil T_T triste nota sacaré... pero tengo que seguir, creo que aun puedo sacar la clase, tengo dos examenes más para recuperarme..  En el laboratorio todo parece andar bien, cada vez salgo más temprano y ayer hasta me dio tiempo de venir a terminar el programa en vivo ^^ (ya haré un post sobre el programa XD) Umm no he hablado mucho con mi chico desde hace rato, no sé pero creo que es mejor la quimica entre nosotros es poca y si nos alejamos aunque lo extrañe no me hace tanta falta, y siempre me alegro de verlo otra vez. Ha de ser porque no me gusta tanto como pensé, mejor asi ^^

So I got up, took a nice hot shower, put on some layers and my scrubs.  They always make me happy.

"Scrubs Slut.  Scrubs Slut." *laughing*  If you have no clue what that is all about, just do a search on my blog.  Oh, I feel I'll have to keep saying that forever every time I write "Scrubs Slut!" New readers...people floating by...  A crazy joke that came about regarding my insane lust for scrubs, people.  So far, no sexual favours to try and obtain? Yet...?

However, even though being all decked out in one of my favourite pieces of fashion, I am not exactly over the moon.  I am completely knackered which is good.  This, no doubt, means some of my wee T-cells are really kicking it into high gear, going full throttle and saying the same thing as I am: "Bring it on!"

I'm also not exactly thrilled because once again...I am too useless to be productive in my job search! May we please have enough of the brain malfunctions, the body malfunctions! PLEASE!!!

So, I suppose I shall have an "Anime Day" today.  I think I'll try and work through Serial Experiments Lain. That is the link to the plot in Wiki and well, I thought I'd just toss it up there as it may (no...probably can) do a better job of giving a synopsis than I!

It is one freaky-assed anime! No, it's one you should watch at least a couple of times to make sure you can grasp it...all? On the way home yesterday, I stopped into a comic store and geeked out with the owner for a few minutes and he totally agreed.

And spolier alert of course if you read it. But it's a seriously cool series!

Someone had entered "Ikuto Death" into a search engine and found my blog. I was completely frickin' shocked by this! One, who could ever ever ever want Ikuto to die, or even check and see if he dies? Two, How does the phrase "Ikuto Death" lead to my blog?! I've never wished death upon the lovely Tsukiomi Ikuto! I never would, either. It made me sad just thinking about someone wondering or hoping that he died! T.T

I wonder if it was a crazy Tadamu fan? They're getting more extreme nowadays. It might have been someone checking spoilers for future chapters, but that is still wrong. The words "Ikuto" and "Death" do not mix, nor belong in the same sentance! If Ikuto did actually ever die, whether in the anime or future chapters, my love and faith in Shugo Chara would be lost. I would shun the show completely. I hate it when my favorites get killed off, but Ikuto is a very particular favorite! I'm going to form and Ikuto Association one of these days to protect him from this blasphemy! O.O

So, to who ever searched the term "Ikuto Death" shame on you! :( Do not wish such heinous things upon the lovely Ikuto! :P

What a wonderful episode - the best episode so far! Something felt different about this episode: almost every frame appeared as a well composed artwork. I decided to investigate and, surely enough, this episode featured storyboard by Kazuya Murata (Planetes, Denno Coil, Eureka Seven, Gunsmith Cats, Code Geass).

Haru and Furuichi find an abandoned suit and a soldier turned into Humanform appears. Haru wants to go away peacefully, but Furuichi shoots.

Haru runs away and sees Akiyuki.

He defeats the Humanform and faces his old friend.

Another Humanform appears and intervenes.

At the sunset, Nakiami finds Roppa and little girl.

It is a very touching scene. "Nakiyame," she says to little girl (No more tears). That is the origin of her own name - Nakiami, given to her as she used to cry often because she endured much hardship and pain as a child. Rio lost all hope in other people due to her loss, but Nakiami shows her that there are people in the world who care.

Nakiami finds Akiyuki in a serious condition.

Back at the headquarters, Furuichi tells about his former friend...

Nakiami and Akiyuki return just in time.

Now... every story needs that kind of character, right? >.>

Next Episode...

To kick off my new fanfic series, I will be...uh...changing my site a bit. I was thinking of giving away Code Geass downloads (Mp3s, manga scans, TV episodes) but I don't like the music nor do I feel like searching for songs, TV Episodes etc. The new fanfic series of mine, Code Geass: The Next Generation, will be loosley based on Meerkat Manor (see the site banner? thats another way of letting the world know of my fanfic). Episode 1 is already up. There is much yaoi and comedy in the fanfic!

I might even do a theme song for this fan fic. I have a keyboard...

Excuse the lateness of this post, I've been extremely tired that past two days. I wanted to review it sooner but my life got in the way. Things like work, the state fair, and then having to chop my legs off by the pain inflicted during work and the state fair. I really shouldn't stand up that long, but I'm better now. XD

Summary

(This summary is half-assed, due to the fact that this episode was uneventful)

The episode begins with Amu, Rima and Tadase walking to school. They get surrounded by a mob of fangirls and boys. Everyone is harping on about how awesome the Guardians are.

Yaya comes running up and glomps Amu, then she too gets praised by the mob of dorks surrounding them. Fangirls calling her Yaya-chan-sempai. (Is it just me, or is that one too many honorifics? O.O) It shows the Guardians in the Royal Garden having tea and talking. Tadase tells everyone about how he saw a glowing egg that he suspected to the be the embryo. Yaya puts a stop to the serious atmosphere by calling Tadase prince, bringing out his non-gay side.

The original king of the Guardians shows up during the middle of Tadase ranting. He talks about how now that the Jack has left they must be having a tougher time. Yaya says that they're just fine and they'll find the embryo soon.

They show the idiot filler bad guy from episode 38, for no real reason. He talks about something or other but I don't really care what he said to much. He gets scolded by a co-worker and then goes back to his work instead of slacking off, and discovers a picture of the glowing egg that Tadase saw.

Kukai shows up! YAY KUKAI! The Guardians go outside and Tadase and Amu have a talk while Kukai is busy catching up with Yaya. Yaya just wants to play with Kukai, but he insists on training her instead. Yaya goes all tsunedre-ish and then after everyone praising her, she agrees.

A bunch of filler kids approach the guardians asking if they've seen a bird. Yaya thinks it's the one she saw before, she and the rest of the Guardians promise to find the lost bird, but they pretty much shove the task off on Yaya and stalk he around while she looks for it.

Yaya couldn't find the bird that day, so the next day she shows up in detective gear, due to having watched a detective show on TV.

The crazy annoying filler bad guy goes and tells the Easter Chief about his discovery of the glowing egg. They ask Ikuto ( YES! FINALLY! IKUTO!!!) if he'd noticed the egg and why he'd never said anything, Ikuto responded with is usual evasive attitude. Easter Chief says that since Utau left it's up to him to find the embryo and he won't be forgiven if he doesn't. Ikuto walks away and Yoru starts complaining on Ikuto's behalf.

Yaya is still looking for the little bird, but leaves to go to ballet. She asks anyone there if they've seen it. The Prima-Donna from ages ago points out a bird to her in a tree and Yaya tries to chase it down.

The Stalker-Guardians lose track of Yaya. They eventually find her while she is chasing after the bird. It flies away from her so Yaya chara-nari's and puts it to sleep. The doctor from the episode when Tsubasa was sick shows up, and tells them that it's his bird that they found.

Opinions

This episode was pretty uneventful. *Yawns* So I don't really have to much to say about it, but oh well.

*Head Desk* I am so tired of seeing Tadase surrounded by Bishie Sparkles. He's to gay to get Bishie Sparkles. Sparkles are reserved for hot guys only!

Ha! We haven't seen the Oh Mighty Ruler in a while! I was tickled by this because when Tadase is in King mode it is the only time he doesn't annoy the hell out of me.

KUUUUUKAI! I have missed you! You came back! But only for a short crappy filler episode that didn't show enough of you! T.T Ah well, whatever, at least he visited! I WANT TO SEE THE NADESHIKO NOW! I'm sick of this, he left ages ago and I want to see him again! They had better let him come back soon!

XD Yaya got a lot of praise in this part, though it was only to get her to do what they wanted. I still found it funny! Look at Rima-tans clap. :P

Yaya is so cute when she's trying to be serious. I think I'm one of the few people out there who really like Yaya. I think she is great and cute, even if she doesn't have anything to do with the plot movement and is loud. I still love her and her Chara Pepe!

Aww! Yaya-Oneechan! I'm happy that Yaya got over her baby complex and is so sweet toward Tsubasa now. ^.^

I was horribly reminded of "Detective Kun-kun" from Rozen Maiden here. I had weird flashbacks of Shinku glued to the TV screen. XD

IIIIIIIKUTO! IKUTO! I MISSED YOU! T.T I'm so happy that you came back!

This part made me so sad. Pissed off Ikuto looks more lonely than mad. I just want to huggle him and tell him everythings alright! T.T Don't worry Ikuto, you'll be rid of those Easter bastards soon!

I suppose it's Amu's job to huggle Ikuto though...that sucks. But if she doesn't pick him in the end, he's fair game so I'm going to huggle him anyways. :P (But if she doesn't pick Ikuto than my opinion of her will drop immensely)

Yoru! IKUTO! I am just so happy! Ikuto is back and so is my favorite Chara!!!!!! I think I overdid it with the Ikuto screecaps....

Yes! The missing Amuto scene! I'm so happy! Ikuto plays violin and Amu sings. T.T Beautiful. I was wondering why they didn't throw this in around episode 12, but who cares. They're making up for it now!

So i've been reading alot of historical-ish manga/hwa's recently, most notably...Princess, Legend of Nereid, and Red River. Which has in-turn somewhat inspired me to start imagining a fantasy-ish but more realistic world... think hittites - ramsese III era till chinese ming dynasty..

My classes have been rather tough, especially telecom. and I feel like I'm lagging behind.... >.<

A little while ago, I went to the Counselor's office at school to request a schedule change. I wanted to switch around my first two classes, because they were back-to-back classes where I stayed in the same room and sat in the same chair for two hours, and I really hated to have to go through that every morning.

Unfortunately, my Counselor told me something much more than just a simple "no".

It began when she asked me, "How can this be? How are you in these classes?". I responded by saying that I qualified for them because I had completed their requirements the year before, in Sophomore year.

"But you only have 7 credits."

"What?"

"Did you go to school here last year?"

"No, I went to Primavera Online High School."

"Oh crap."

So began my wonderful adventure to my current situation. Lemme give you a background check on my education.

I went to Mesquite High School for my Freshman year in high school. I completed one out of two semesters there. Somewhere near the half-way point through the second semester, my mom's dog breeding business started to expand and my grandma and her weren't capable of running it by themselves, so I volunteered to drop out of a real high school in favor of taking up a full-time online education.

Unfortunately, this did nothing but screw me over. I hated the online classes.

You should know this, but in case you don't, I'm a very social person. I love to meet people, talk to people, and sometimes even debate with people, as long as no ones feelings get hurt. But through online schooling, there's absolutely no interaction with anybody. No friends, no teachers; just you and your computer.

Nothing's real. The Internet, in all of its un-seriousness, is truly no place for school.

I suffered through an entire year of that crap. Come Junior year, I decided enough was enough and enrolled myself back at Mesquite High School. My mom's dog breeding business failed miserably through the course of my Sophomore year anyway, so I didn't really have much point in staying with Primavera.

But then came the day when I asked for a schedule change.

"How can I only have 7 credits?"

"I don't think we take Primavera credit here."

"Why not?"

"I'm not sure. I think it's a district policy."

"So it's like I didn't even take my Sophomore year then, huh?"

"Come...come back tomorrow and we'll sort this out."

I come back tomorrow and I get an ultimatum. Mesquite High School won't take my Sophomore year credits and I have three options.

"I've been sitting here for an hour and you can graduate high school by 2010," my counselor begins. My face brightens up significantly. "But, in actuality, you really have only two options, as graduating by 2010 would require a ridiculous amount of work."

"Like what?"

"Well for instance, you'd have to take summer school, 0 Hour classes, join  clubs, and get a job. Even after all of that, you would graduate in the summer of 2010, after the graduation ceremony."

To me, special moments like proms, graduation ceremonies - once in a lifetime things; they mean a lot to me. So, doing a ton of work just so I can get my diploma in the mail? I ruled that option out.

"What's my other two options?"

"Well, you can take your Sophomore year over again and graduate by 201...or you can go back to Primavera."

And here I am today. Enrolled with Primavera again, not making any new friends or socializing, just typing away on the Internet. This was not how I envisioned high school and this isn't right. But then again, what's a brotha' to do? I can't possibly do the insane amount of work, let alone get a job, just so I can graduate in the summer of 2010, nor am I taking a year I already accomplished over again because no Arizona district wants to take my credit. This is just what I have to do.

If you're wondering why I wrote this blog...well, I don't really know. I just needed to vent I guess. I also felt an obligation to explain to you why I haven't been blogging much.

My education woes aren't the only reason you haven't seen much blogging from me though. I'll write another blog later on my latest project: Manila.

University Life

After two years of atrophy, both physically and mentally, I am finally a college student. After hours of flying, I am back in Boston once more and headed straight to my university so that I could move into my room. And it was a surprise to me to find myself in a house where all the rooms had white boards hanging on them with Japanese hiragana and katakana written on them.

Apparently I have been allocated to a place where the occupants are mainly 'Lovers of the Japanese Culture'. It was unexpected but after pondering for a bit, it is probably because I had submitted certain information about being interested in the Japanese language during my Housing Survey. It was a pleasant surprise, though somewhat embarrassing, but at least I am not living with a group of party girls and jocks and my roommates are very nice boys.

Anyway, having spent most of my life in Singapore, it is obvious that I am not so acquainted with the culture of college in America. But I have made a few observations which are subjected to debate of their credibility.

1. Most conversations made by freshmen students are never devoid of Facebook.
2. If you want to speak more casually with Americans, add 'IT IS LIKE....' into your conversations.
3. Freshmens are the noisiest bunch in college as they are fresh from high school graduation and there are lingering characteristics of high school stereotypes in them.
4. Juniors, Seniors and Graduate Students tend to be ghosts in the campus, as they are indifferent to the noise and activity going around in the campus (usually caused by freshmens)
5. Although freshmen students tend to make a lot of friends during the beginning of their first semester, those relationships tend to fade away gradually. It is like how everyone's social circle eventually shrinks to its equilibrium state.
6. Everyone loves Family Guy.
7. You have to play pool in college.

Entering university life is quite a rude disruption of your life as compels you to plunge into a different lifestyle. It has been an unpleasant yet peculiarly exciting journey so far and I am... learning big words that will make me sound smart!

Code Geass R2

With my entry into college life, there is a significant reduction in my viewing of anime. But that has not stopped me from following the fabulous Code Geass R2. With the show coming to an end, I am gradually summing up my conclusion on the show. And hey! Suzaku's spinning kick can now shatter spears!

About Nanoha StrikerS

I blame the recent reading of some silly French philosopher's essay for being the reason for the ridiculous randomness of my post. But anyway, I would like to follow up on my journey with Nanoha StrikerS after having completed it a month ago. Coincidentally, The Animanachronism recently wrote a short but concise post (as short as Caro) about the show as well.

In the middle of the show, I found myself turning away in a fit of rage (exaggerated of course) with one obvious reason. I started Nanoha StrikerS with certain expectations and it was not exactly what I had wanted. But still, Nanoha StrikerS is refreshing as compared to what Nanoha A's had offered. Yet it had certain flaws which hindered one's willingness to embrace this sequel and exposed it to comparative criticism with its AWESOME predecessor.

As IKnight has mentioned in his post, Nanoha StrikerS in my opinion stretched too far on the various themes it was attempting. Mainly being the antagonist's perspective of the world which drove him to commit those deeds. And with the show spreading too thinly, there was hardly anything memorable or deeply etching to the viewers. There it is not true it lacked any sort of merits. Specifically, I found some characters intriguing to follow. That applied mainly to Erio due to his interesting background story but he was also a victim of the show's feeble development.

Nanoha StrikerS suffers from droughts time to time

1. Anticipation due to excitement left by the AWESOMENESS of Nanoha A's
2. Unrealistic, but somewhat mushy, depiction of military life.
3. Signum appears
4. Transformation scene for Nanoha and Fate. Not to forget Subaru's GaoGaiGar tribute.
5. Like the sands in a hourglass, so are the Days of the StrikerS' lives. Relatively draggy.
6. NANOHA OWNS QUATTRO'S ASS. FATE UNLEASHES RIOT ZAMBER.

On the other hand, Nanoha A's itself is an epithet to one of its insert songs 'Brave Pheonix' as it was one heck of a blaze. A's, though not as complex as StrikerS, was simple in its execution yet it allowed us to be focus simply on its AWESOMENESS.

1. A lack of enthusiasm because of a mediocre predecessor.
2. Fate saves Nanoha from Vita.
3. Fate goes to school.
4. Nanoha and Fate obtain their upgraded devices. LOAD CARTRIDGES.
5. Signum says, 'If we had not met this way, we would have been friends'
6. The Book of Darkness awakes.
7. NANOHA PUMPS A COUPLE CARTRIDGES INTO ONE SINGLE ATTACK THAT BLASTS THROUGH THE BOOK OF DARKNESS' MAGIC SHIELD.
8. Anti-climax

首先我们可以发现第一集明之感染系洛克扎姆德化的场景中，古市——眼镜也受伤了，但这里还无法确定四散的系洛克是不是也感染了眼镜。

再看第五集女学生人形化后追击眼镜，而不是最痛恨的Haru，根据剧情交代的“人形会主动攻击扎姆德”的设定，那么眼镜有可能也在第一集自爆袭击中感染了系洛克，只是明之与少女接触而立刻扎姆德化，而眼镜还尚未发作。证据就是当人形瞄准眼镜攻击时，眼镜不自觉的把手伸向受过伤的右腿，截图无法很好的表现这个动作，有兴趣查证的同学请看第5集这一段吧。

眼镜不仅仅是个口水角色，一旦发作后扎姆德化，眼镜极为可能成为压轴的BOSS级角色，不可小看啊……
